Apologies for complete lack of posting recently but I’ve been busy working on some exciting projects which I shall share later.
In the mean time I’ve been trying to get back into sketching as an exercise to help me paint better. I’m just jotting down ideas and visuals that have caught my eye to provide inspiration and practice painting. Here’s a couple of sketches made from a TV program on a very old Ethiopian Church, painted in the local folk art style. I love the patterns and naivety in the way it’s been painted and conceived.
