Artist Open House Exhibition – Brighton Festival

One of the things I’m working on currently is painting like mad for my artists open house exhibition coming up in May. As part of the Brighton Arts festival I’m opening up my Victorian cottage(my house above, situated within the Ditchling trail) and showing oil paintings and watercolours plus a small collection of vintage finds that are for sale. Everyone is inivited!

There are 14 venues participating in Ditchling and Ditchling is such a beautiful village to visit in it’s own right, nestled at the foot of the downs and full of medieval architecture and history.

It has always been a popular place with artists, Eric Gill lived here as well as many others which you can find out about at the Ditchling Museum. There is a lovely cafe/delicateseen, a tea rooms and a couple of lovely old pubs.
