Our friends up in Yorkshire who will be opening The Bivouac luxury campsite in a few weeks asked me to paint a mural on the wall of their new cafe barn. Beth asked specifically for a tree/branch with a bird(s) on it and so this is what I came up with (excuse the phone photo). A largeish tree with a whole plethora of British birds. I imagine it may keep some budding ornithologists busy whilst sipping a nice cup of Yorkshire tea. I’ll try and get some better photos with some close ups of the birds.
It was also great to see how the site is coming along and all the things they are doing. It’s going to be amazing. You can book your holidays here… (ps. spot my illustrations all over the site).
It is really beautiful, and completely enhances the space. It will be lovely to be in the cafe and study it. You are a very talented woman.
